I am a music teacher from Tucson, Arizona. I teach at four schools around the city and have about 350 students from 1st grade to 5th grade.

Now then…back to me. My boyfriend’s name is Zach. He has a really cool last name but he probably doesn’t want me to post it here. You’ll just have to imagine. His middle name is also pretty spiffy. I live with two roommates, Ashley and Alison, and one cat. His name is technically Hal, but he goes by Kitty. He’s the one in the picture above. I’ve found that the fatter he gets, the nicer he gets. When Ashley leaves, I give him extra food.

If you’re wondering about this blog design, I created the graphics after many, many grueling hours with photoshop. Ok, I technically just wasted one Sunday and a couple of afternoons, but it was still annoying.  As for why Kitty is in it, I don’t know, but I think he fits. I need to credit mctrent on flickr with the awning. Isn’t that a nice awning picture? I think so.

As for the picture of me, that was taken several years ago when my friend worked at a portrait studio. Doesn’t she do nice work?
